Overview of Running Artifactory on MySQL
The instructions below explain the process for setting-up Artifactory on MySQL.
By using MySQL (rather than the built-in Derby Database) you can utilize exiting MySQL infrastructure and use the MySQL backup, restore and high-availability features.
The setup involves creating a dedicated MySQL database instance and then configuring Artifactory to use that instance.
