Overview

To get you up and running as quickly and easily as possible with all the Enterprise+ product suite, you'll need to first install JFrog Artifactory and Mission Control. You can then continue to install, configure and add each additional service to Mission Control.

This getting started guide is broken down into three main sections:

  1. Basic Enterprise+ setup
1.1.  Install Artifactory (that will be assigned as your Authentication Provider)
     1.2.  Install Mission Control
1.3.  Start Mission Control and complete the onboarding wizard
  2. Install and configure additional Artifactory and Artifactory Edge services, and add them as services to Mission Control
  3. Install and configure Xray and Distribution services, and add them as services to Mission Control

Before continuing with this Getting Started user guide, it is strongly recommended to review the Enterprise+ Overview, to get an understanding of how each product fits into the product suite.

Circle of Trust

Establish a circle of trust between your source Artifactory and Artifactory Edge Nodes. For additional details, refer to the JFrog Access User Guide under Establishing a Circle of Trust.

This will optimize replication when distributing with JFrog Distribution. For additional information, refer to the JFrog Artifactory User Guide.

Configure NGINX in Artifactory

As part of the distribution flow, Artifactory needs to interact with JFrog Distribution which relies on HTTP/1.1 protocol functionalities, such as chunked transfer encoding. For additional information, refer to the JFrog Artifactory User Guide.

For each Xray and Distribution service you want to add to Enterprise+, you'll need to install it, configure it, and add it as a service to Mission Control.
