Overview

The Microsoft Azure ARM Template allows Microsoft Azure users the ability to deploy a high availability instance of JFrog Xray with the click of a few buttons. The ARM template is built in conjunction with Azure engineers to ensure best practices during deployment.

Prerequisites

  • An active Azure subscription
  • Spare vCPUs available in your region in Azure
  • An existing Artifactory instance
  • (Optionally) Deployed PSQL instance

Deploying the Xray Microsoft Azure ARM Template

  1. Go to the JFrog Xray Enterprise listing.
  2. Click GET IT NOW and then Continue | Create.
  3. In the Basics tab, fill out the Subscription, Resources Group and Region.
  4. Fill out the form. Make sure to use the Artifactory Join key, which you can copy from the Artifactory UI, Security -> Settings -> Connection Details. 
  5. Finally Review | Create.
  6. When the process has completed and Xray has started up, you should see the changes in your existing JFrog Platform UI.
