      Description

When configuring a Jenkins freestyle project, the configured repository will not be saved.

Reproduced with Jenkins version Jenkins 2.249.1 and Artifactory plugin 3.8.1.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Create a freestyle project in jenkins.
      2. Go to Build Environment → Generic-Artifactory Integration → Choose “Legacy patterns (deprecated)” → under “Upload Details” Specify a repository name (using list or self written). Save.
      3. If you go to the config.xml file of the build by default under /Users/<userName>/.jenkins/jobs/<jobName>. You will be able to see that the chosen repository is present in that config.xml file.
      4. Configure the build again, don't change/update anything and save. Check config.xml, you will see that no repository is specified.
