      Description

Artifactory can allow adding, replacing internal RPM signatures management abilities. This can be useful for having the option to change signing after a packages was already built and deployed. Moreover, should a key needs to be revoked - having this ability will assist with resigning with a new signature.

Examples by the RPM command line tool (packages can have or not have signatures already):

      1. rpm --resign mycustomrpm-7.9-1.i386.rpm

It'll generate and append internal package signatures for the listed package(s) while preserving the existing ones.

      2. rpm --addsign mycustomrpm-7.9-1.i386.rpm

The --addsign option generates and inserts new signatures for each package. Any existing signatures will be discarded.

      3. rpm --delsign mycustomrpm-7.9-1.i386.rpm

      Removes any existing signatures
