      Description

      Hi,

Please follow below old JIRA and knowledge base articles. In past, artifactory used to provide search limits by using a property attribute for all REST api search limits. This limit has been removed and now any valid user can invoke any searches, which can constraint artifactory instance on resources. For example, if a search query need to return one million records then artifactory will cause a memory and CPU resource.

As part of this JIRA, we should provide a mechanism to limit these search results differently for admin and non-admin users. If limiting search results are not good options then we should provide some kind of pagination solution so that not all artifactory resources are consumed by one search.
