      Description

Docker supports referencing remote layers in the manifest to be pulled by the docker engine on demand.
When trying to control the source of the layers used this might fail the pull request in case the engine doesn't have access to the registry where remote layers are stored.

Artifactory should add support to actively fetch and cache remote layers when uploading or caching a manifest with those references provided that the remote layers are stored in a registry that is part of approved remote registries and the user has the relevant permission to write / cache to the relevant registry in Artifactory.
