      Description

      Artifactory Storage summary experiences degradation or failure when it is unable to find a binary.

      Steps for reproduction:

      • Cache-FS is located on NAS/NFS
      • S3 binary provider
      • Cache is filled (more artifacts increases the likelihood of issue occuring
      • uploads to artifactory
      • continuous request for api/storageinfo

       Results:

      Response is

      {
      "errors" : [ {
      "status" : 400,
      "message" : "/clusterhome/ha-data/cache/_pre/dbRecord2837262317790283169.bin does not exist"
      } ]
      }400

      • 2018-04-16 14:58:19,828 [pool-622-thread-7] [ERROR] (o.a.s.c.b.AbstractSupportBundleService:414) - Task 'collectStorageSummary' has failed, /ha-data/cachefs/_pre/dbRecord4519042453044112499.bin does not exist
      • When using the UI, the storage summary page will load for extended times and return a blank screen.
      • When collecting the support bundle, the request takes a long time to be produced.
      • As long as the cache-fs is located on NAS/NFS, the issue reoccurs as the cache fills up
        • clearing the cache is not a viable workaround

      CollectStorageSummary has been updated in 5.9.

      The recommended workaround is to remove cache-fs, and/or move the cache-fs directory to a local drive.
