      Description

      I'd like to use Artifactory as a shared-state cache mirror for a yocto project.

      A simple web server can be used for that. I just need to upload some files to artifactory.
      The files that are part of the cache are named like: "sstate:gnutls::3.5.13:r0::3:00aafb80c1b26df85c5000babf7e144f_populate_lic.tgz"

      The issue is that Artifactory currently doesn't allow ':' (and '+') in filenames:

      $ jfrog rt upload foo:bar yocto/sstate/
      [Info] [Thread 2] Uploading artifact: foo:bar
      [Error] [Thread 2] Artifactory response: 409 Conflict
      {
        "errors": [
          {
            "status": 409,
            "message": "Old metadata notation is not supported anymore: yocto:sstate/foo:bar"
          }
        ]
      }
      [Error] [Thread 2] Artifactory response: 409 Conflict

      [Info] Uploaded 0 artifacts.
      [Error] Failed uploading 1 artifacts.

      As far as I know, the convention used for sstate filenames by bitbake can't be changed.
      I can't rename the files and replace the ':'.

      As I understand, ':' is not allowed because it was used to specify metadata.
      This hasn't been supported for quite some time.

      Would it be possible to allow filenames with ':' in Artifactory?
