Having an Artifactory CocoaPods remote repository configured with the default URL as `https://github.com/` and Specs Repo URL configured as `https://github.com/CocoaPods/Specs`, and using `cocoapods-art` plugin.
Tested and working are
- `GoogleSignIn` with source http `https://dl.google.com/...` (Artifactory doesn't cache this!, related to
- `ObjectiveSugar` with source git `https://github.com/mneorr/ObjectiveSugar.git`
Tested and not working is
- `Pelcro` with source git `https://bitbucket.org/michael-pelcro/ios-sdk.git`
It seems like downloading CocoaPods hosted on GitHub works correctly, while externally hosted CocoaPods (which exist in the public GitHub Spec!) fail to be cached and even fail to be downloaded if the source is git from another provider.
The failing download (with --verbose flag) is returning a 404 as follows:
