      Description

We have been seeing a lot of hashsum mismatch errors coming from apt-get within Ubuntu in relation to translations files in our remote ubuntu.com repositories. When we dug through the artifactory logs, we came across the following being printed over and over again:

      2015-02-23 18:01:10,835 [http-bio-127.0.0.1-8080-exec-5] [INFO ] (o.a.r.HttpRepo :328) - security.ubuntu.com downloading http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/trusty-security/universe/i18n/Translation-en.bz2 47.21 KB
      2015-02-23 18:01:10,838 [http-bio-127.0.0.1-8080-exec-5] [WARN ] (o.a.r.ArtifactoryResponseBase:62) - Actual bytes sent to client (48343) are different than expected (48400).

What is causing this error to occur?

Any thoughts to why Artifactory would alter something before passing it on?
