Mirroring remote repositories in artifactory with a http endpoint.

I am trying to mirror a remote http endpoint that lists out its content in artifactory. I go through the description on how to attach a remote repo as you can see in the attached image.

As I test it says connection to server created but when I check back in the UI it gives me a 0 artifacts count whereas as you can see in the link it does contain multiple packages.

So, my question is how does the remote repository connect with artifactory and what are the requirements besides an http endpoint ?
