In case we try to download a go version from github which is a commit. Meaning that the version in the mod file looks like this  v0.0.0-<dateFormat>-<first 12 letters in commit> The download will fail.

when we tried to download the mod we converted the version to a valid commit, with which we could create the download url from github. The next request is to download the source code zip for the same version - In this part it is not done, thus the request failed.
