 Description

Attempting to change the name of a directory in a WebDAV client connected to an artifactory repository resulted in the directory not being changed.

Steps to reproduce:

1) From Webdav client, create data repository mapping to artifactory repository (local archive) with Anonymous Access disabled.
2) In WebDAV client, create a dummy folder, verify the folder shows up in the artifactory repository
3) Rename the folder in the WebDAV client. Confirm that the folder is not renamed in either the WebDAV client nor in the repository.

Note: Used BitKinex client

Log shows an entry recieved from the MOVE command:

This problem still exists in RTFACT 4.0.
It doesn't matter what WebDav-Client you use, I tried

  • DavExplorer (Java)
  • Linux with davfs mounted
  • Windows with net use

Please resolve ;-(
