CEPH S3 provider – Configuration with Artifactory

It is possible to configure CEPH Object storage platform with Artifactory. To set up Artifactory with S3, need to follow these stepsCheck here for more information on S3 Object storage, and here about Ceph.


Below is a basic storage.properties configuration for CEPH:

binary.provider.s3.endpoint=<My Ceph Server>

binary.provider.s3.bucket.name=<My Ceph Bucket Name>

binary.provider.s3.https.only=false


Note the highlighted entries (mandatory for the CEPH configuration):

binary.provider.s3.https.only=false entry


Version 4.6.0 of Artifactory introduces the new filestore management capabilities. Here is a basic example of the CEPH configuration with the binarystore.xml file:
